Jennifer Beran, DPT/OWNER

Jennifer was born and raised in Minneapolis and thus is extremely well-known for her cold hands but equally warm heart. She received her BS in psychology from the University of Wisconsin at LaCrosse in 1995 and her doctorate in physical therapy from Creighton in 1998. She ran her first marathon in 2001, started Premier Therapy in 2005, married the love of her life in 2009, and became certified in scuba-diving and sky-diving in 2011. Jennifer loves running, reading, talking, and helping her patients meet their goals. She also loves a good joke and padded tennis shoes (in case we didn’t mention, she’s ridiculously short.)

Dylan Jones, DPT

I am proud to be an Omaha native.  I graduated from University of Nebraska Omaha with a degree in Business Management. I then attended Creighton University where I received my Doctorate in Physical Therapy. I am an avid outdoorsman that enjoys hunting, fishing, camping, and hiking. I also have a passion for all sports and spend many of my free Saturdays at Husker games in the fall.

Fun facts: I have two dogs, an Australian kelpie named Dax and a mini schnoodle named Grizzly.  And I hate tomatoes.

Riaz Ali, DPT

My name is Riaz. I am happily married with two wonderful kids. I’ve been a physical therapist for over 23 years and I enjoy working with people, helping them get better, and meet all of their goals. In my free time, I am perfecting my crepe recipe and I love to spend time with my little “teddy bear” dog, Bella.

Julie Ortman, DPT

Julie Ortman, DPT

Julie joined the Premier team in 2014. Prior to that, she enjoyed serving our veterans as a physical therapist at the VA Medical Center for 16 years. Julie grew up right here in Bennington, NE, and graduated with her Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 1998 from Creighton University. Julie is best known for her crazy endurance endeavors. She has completed a 50K, 9 marathons, many 1/2 marathons, and all triathlon distances -including 2 full Ironmans. Julie even finished in the top 10% of all world Ironman branded triathletes in 2013, qualified and ran the Boston Marathon in 2014, and placed 2nd overall female in a half-iron distance triathlon in 2016. An injury and subsequent surgery have set her back recently, but she hopes to get back to competing soon.

Katy Sousan, PTA

Born and raised in Omaha, NE and graduated PTA school from Nebraska Methodist College. Married her husband, Ben, in 2018 and moved to Georgia with their dog Frankie but moved back to Husker nation in 2023. Since graduation has worked in outpatient physical therapy which is her favorite setting due to the diverse diagnosis’ and patient population she gets to work with. Outside of work loves cooking/baking, reading, hiking, traveling, and spending most of her free time with family, friends, and her dog. Although she has a deep passion for health/wellness, she is just as happy spending all day watching romantic comedies on the couch.

                                                  Jason Rowley, PTA

Jason was born in Roswell, NM but was raised in Alliance, NE. He played basketball and football in his high school days, but didn’t get those pro team offers as had hoped for.  Jason attended the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with a degree in sociology and ethnic studies. After working for some years at Nebraska DHHS, Jason returned to school and obtained his Physical Therapist Assistant Associates degree at Southeast Community College, graduating with honors. He likes to spend his free time with his wife, Danielle, and two daughters, Stella and Monroe. The family likes to go to the park, go swimming and eat sandwiches together.  (Personally, Jason likes to play video games, watch movies and lift weights, but doesn’t get much personal time with the two littles at home.)

Chris Beran, Business ManagerChris Beran, Business Manager/Owner

Chris is the master of all things electronic, technical, and creative. He loves his wife, his children, and his computer. He is a pilot and a skydiving instructor with over 800 jumps and is successful (most of the time.) When his son was asked what would be his dad’s perfect day, “Any day with weather nice enough to fly into the blue sky or jump through it.” And if you ever need to ask a favor, Chris loves peanut butter to an almost freakish degree.
