Hooray Beer! Beer Marinades Reduce Cancer Risk in Grilled Meats

A recent study from European scientists, published in The Journal of Agriculture and Food Chemistry, found that meats marinated in beer had decreased polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs), a known carcinogen which can form on grilled meat if cooked to hot or burned. Americans Exercising Less in 2013?…Not My Patients

According to the Gallup-Healthways Well-Being Index, Americans are exercising less in 2013 than 2012. June numbers are down from 55.2% to 53.8% and the January numbers are down from 49.1% to 47.7%. Gallup-Healthways interviews no less than 500 people a day, except on holidays, but one could argue they should call people around the holidays to interrupt that 2nd helping.
