About Jennifer Beran, DPT

Jennifer was born and raised in Minneapolis, thus is extremely well-known for her cold hands but equally warm heart. She received her doctorate in physical therapy from Creighton 1998 (over 20years ago!) She started Premier Therapy in 2005, married the love of her life in 2009, and became a sky-dive instructor in 2014. Jennifer loves a good joke and padded tennis shoes (in case we didn’t mention, she’s ridiculously short.)

Torticollis

What do you think of you hear “occupational therapist”?

I feel like most people know what a PT (physical therapist) does, but aren't as knowledgeable about OT (occupational therapy.) Actual definition: "A form of therapy for those recuperating from physical or mental illness that encourages rehabilitation through the performance of activities required in daily life."  (Which in my opinion pretty much tells you nothing.) Real life application at Premier Therapy:  Michele Jarzynka, OT is the expert of the forearm, wrist, hand and fingers... there are 34 muscles in [...]
