So yes, we could be way worse like Memphis # 50 where 71% of the adult population is either overweight or obese … or Indianapolis #46 where 26.4% of the residents smoke an average of 15.5 cigarettes per day.
But we could be WAY better…#1: Portland: 86% of the population gets regular exercise. #2: San Francisco residents eat more than 5 servings of fruits and vegetables per day.
So come on, Omaha & Papillion & LaVista & Gretna, let’s each do our part to raise our ranking with this simple recipe to lose weight: (1) EAT BETTER= more veggies, water and lean protein; less sugar, fast food and white bread. (2) MOVE MORE with activities you enjoy- walk, bike, swim, lift, paddle, throw.
