NEW STUDY involving 30 physical therapists stating that Pilates’ core exercises aide in teaching about:
- Correct breathing technique
- Body awareness & movement control
- Posture Posture Posture (uber important to us therapists)
The grand conclusion of the study: Pilates’ core strengthening exercises were effective when used by PTs to treat patients with chronic low back pain with goal of 30-60min supervised sessions, twice/ week, for 3-6 mos.
