Melissa always wanted to be a part of a team, to have an impact on something greater than herself. Outside of being a member of our team at Premier Therapy Associates, she is also a proud member of the Air National Guard. Melissa joined the United States Air Force in March 2010 where she attended Basic Military Training in San Antonio, TX. Shortly after, she received orders to North Carolina where she served for four years in the Force Support Squadron. Throughout this time, she became a valuable member to countless mission essential training operations. She later transferred into the Air National Guard in 2015 so that she could pursue becoming a Physical Therapist Assistant. Since then she has continued to stay involved in every way possible. Most recently, she was an actively engaged member for Hurricane Harvey relief in 2017, prior to that she was deployed overseas. Staff Sergeant Melissa Perkins loves to serve and will continue to remain in the military for as long as they will have her.
