Today we enjoyed a sushi platter from Hiro 88 as a celebratory lunch for Chris’ birthday! There are many health benefits of eating sushi and other types of seafood. The high content of fish oil found in sushi promotes a healthy cardiovascular system. Vinegar, which is found in the seaweed, is an important factor in promoting cell metabolism. People who use vinegar frequently in their diet have lower percentages of body fat. Fish and seafood also contain high quality protein and are low in calories.
